Bike Training
Working towards a triathlon
Proficiency on a bike is essential, in both handling and pedalling. Non-riders must learn immediately as this
discipline holds greatest potential for accidents. Preferably purchase a bike and have it adjusted appropriately.
Helmets are essential and you MUST have one, otherwise you will not be allowed to race.
Time guide based on 20km ride:
Beginner: 45-60 mins
Intermediate: 35- 45 mins
Advanced: 25- 35 mins
