Are you tough enough!

We have 3 options now available for you Tough Runners! The Tough5, 10, or 15k!

  • Earlybird rate: Now extended until 20th February – 5k @ £15, 10k @ £18, 15k @ £21
  • Less than a month to event: 21st February – 1oth March 5k @ £16 , 10k @ £20, 15k @ £23

Take on the ups and downs of Greenwich Park! A great early season tough run to test those legs and get the heart pounding.

Running around the stunning park, join hundreds of runners to challenge yourself as well as friends, family and work colleagues.

Not quite ready for the Tough 10?! Then we are here to accommodate! Take on the Tough5! A 5k run that will still test you on a few hills but half the dose. You can definitely do this one! No excuses….Or need a greater challenge than the 10k, then give the Tough15 a crack!!

The 5k is one lap, the 10k is 2 and the 15k is 3. All runners will get split times for multiple laps.

And not forgetting the kids, there will be a tough2k run! Get them involved in the action. It’s a free run for the youngsters!

Places are very limited so get your entry in asap to be part of a great event and a chance to get out running with friends, work colleagues and the family!

CHARITIES AND FUNDRAISING
Please note you are not required to fundraise for this event. However if you want to raise money take a look at some of the charities listed on our website!

ARRIVAL AND REGISTRATION
The Tough Runs will start at 9.30am. Registration will be open from 8.15am and will close at 9.20am so please arrive nice and early. Greenwich mainline station is about 25 minutes walk. The postcode for Greenwich Park is SE10 8QY. The registration point is on Bower Avenue.

Registration will be set by race number so please make sure you queue in the correct section. Remember you will collect your race number along with your race chip here. Your race chip is essential to record your time.

Please make sure you pin your race number to the front of your t-shirt.

PARKING
There is carparking on Blackheath Avenue. Please note this is pay and display. Also note this is limited and will get full quickly so if possible please look for parking outside of the park. This is highly recommended to avoid any delays in arrival.

TOILETS
Situated on The Avenue which is off Blackheath Avenue and there are also portaloos which will be situated near the event hub.

BAG STORAGE
This is located next to the registration tents. Please note space is limited so travel as lightly as possible.

THE TOUGH RUNS
The runs will kick off at 9.30am and will take you around Greenwich Park. We will start gathering you in to the start area at 9.20am. We will have some funky tunes played to get you ready for the challenge that awaits!

There will be marshals around the course to support and encourage you.

Please take care when running around the course as this is public land and local residents will be out and about. Please always stay on the left unless otherwise guided.

Results will be displayed on our race timing screen so after crossing the finish line you can check out your time.

Drinks and fruit will be available at the finish line and there will be a water station on the course.

AFTER THE EVENT
Everyone will receive a very cool medal and there are also a few trophies that are up for grabs!

ISRM will be onsite to offer pre and post race massages and kinesiology taping – both pre and post race (this form of kinesiology taping can be used to improve performance and can enable athletes to compete even if suffering from a minor injury) Kinesiology tape also improves recovery time and assists with rehabilitation following an injury.

Sports massage – £8.00 – Pre-bookings will be available on the day but must be paid in advance and Pre event.(non-refundable)

Kinesiology Tape application – £3.50   (pre and post event availability).
