This is the ideal event to not only start the triathlon season, but to get a taste of some Olympic spirit!

The All Nations Triathlon is a chance for you to don your country colours and take part for your nation! Ok you could be just starting out or a seasoned professional. It doesn’t matter. This event is open to all levels and a chance for you to get involved in a great event. Come along with friends, colleagues or family and not only feel the buzz of an Olympic Venue, but enjoy a superb day.

The All Nations Triathlon is a supersprint triathlon so a great one for beginners but also a great warm up for the more regular triathlete.

EVENT DETAILS

Our supersprint triathlon will take you round the amazing Dorney Lake! Check out the course map above. This is one of the most spectacular venues in the country and home for the 2012 Olympic Rowing! The swim is in a closed water lake so perfect for all levels of swimmer, the bike is on a flat fast course in a closed venue, and the run is around the stunning lake, so you can’t beat that! Ideal for all triathletes, take on this challenge with friends and put on your home colours and help take the country title!

THE VENUE AND GENERAL DETAILS

  • The full address for the event is Dorney Rowing Lake, Dorney, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 6QP. A link to the venue can be found at the top of this event page.If travelling by train the main stations for Dorney Lake are Slough (Paddington line) and Windsor & Eton Riverside (from Waterloo) but is also near Burnham, Taplow, Maidenhead and Windsor & Eton Central (branch of Paddington line). From these stations you can get a taxi or if with a bike you can ride to the venue. We recommend researching the best option before travelling to ensure you arrive on time.
  • Please drive all the way down to the Clubhouse and park in the carparking which will be signed.
  • If you have friends or family who are coming to spectate make sure they arrive before 9.15am otherwise they will have to park in the parking further up the lake and walk down as we close part of the road once the race starts.
  • The Clubhouse has changing rooms, toilets and shower facilities.
  • We have a dedicated bag storage for your belongings which will be located next to the registration tent.
  • There is a cafe in the Clubhouse where you can get drinks, snacks and hot sandwiches.

REGISTRATION & THE EVENT

  • Registration will be open from 7.30am (you will see our Orange Gazebo before you get to the Clubhouse!) and will close at 9.15am.
  • Please make sure you have your race number and pin this to the front of your t-shirt for the bike and the run section.
  • You will receive a RACE CHIP. This will correspond with your race number. This is essential to record your time. Please make sure it is on before the start of the event and hand back to our team once you cross the finish line.
  • You can view the course map at the top of this event page.
  • If you are not BTA registered you have to pay the £5 levy at registration. If you are BTA registered please remember to bring your license.
  • After registering you have to rack your bike. You MUST wear a helmet otherwise we are not allowed to let you participate.
  • Wetsuits are not compulsory unless the water temperature is below 14 degrees! (we hope that wont be the case) however we highly recommend that you wear a wetsuit.
  • All bikes MUST be racked by 9.15am.
  • You can leave your race gear in the transition area. ONLY those taking part are allowed in to transition.
  • We will provide swim caps which can be collected on the day.
  • The race will start at 9.30am sharp.
  • You will receive details of your wave group and time in an email about a week before the event.
  • The road will be closed at 9.15am. Anyone arriving after this time will have to park in the middle car park and walk down.

AFTER THE EVENT

  • Everyone will receive a medal and there will also be a number of prizes.
  • Drinks and refreshments will be available from the Clubhouse.

Please make sure you come prepared and have all your essential kit with you including wetsuits which are recommended for the swim and helmets which again MUST be worn on the bike.

Results will be up online within 48 hours of the event completion.
