THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL!

On Saturday 13 March families of the missing will be joined by hundreds of supporters to run in memory of missing loved ones. Get fit and be part of this special event in aid of the charity Missing People.

Whether you run or walk the 6.2 miles (10k), it doesn’t mater. What counts is being there for families of the missing.

Registration for the event is just £20. Missing People asks that each runners sets themselves a fundraising target. If you raised £150 it would enable Missing People to handle calls from families in crisis for a whole day. The more you raise the more Missing People can do to help those in need.

Event Information

ARRIVAL and REGISTRATION

Registration will be open from 8.00am and close at 9.50am so please arrive nice and early.

There is limited carparking around Hyde Park so please plan your journey beforehand.

Toilets are located around Hyde Park.

‘Miles for Missing People’ will start at 10am.

Race packs will be sent out to you in the post prior to the event. These will include your race number and information about the event. Your ‘Miles for Missing People’ T-shirt can be collected on race day when you collect you RACE CHIP. Your RACE CHIP will correspond with your race number. This is essential to record your time. Please make sure you put your RACE CHIP through your shoelace and make sure it is on before the start of the event and hand back to an event organiser once you cross the finish line.

The EVENT

The run will kick off at 10am and will take you around Hyde Park. The course is mainly on paths. Remember its all good fun and you can walk, jog or run!!

There will be marshals around the course to support and encourage you.

Please take care when running around the course as this is public land and local residents will be on the Park. Please always stay on the left unless otherwise guided.

Results will be displayed on our race timing screen so after crossing the finish line you can check out your time!!

Drinks and fruit will be available at the finish line.

AFTER THE EVENT

You will be able to check out your race results instantly after crossing the finish line and collecting your ‘Miles for Missing People’ medal.

Please make sure you hand your RACE CHIP back to our team once you have crossed the finish line. There is a £10 charge if this is not returned.
